The Shasha Marondera floor, located at TSF, serves growers from the Manicaland province as well as part of the Mashonaland East province. The majority of our tobacco comes from the Headlands, Macheke, and Rusape areas.
Volumes are steadily increasing, with a total of 370 bales being laid for sale on Wednesday, 30 April. Prices are on the firm side, with growers expressing satisfaction with the prices they got for their tobacco on offer.

Austin Freddie, a 0.5-hectare grower from the Arizona farm in Macheke, operating under the supervision of Field Officer Philemon Muchemwa, has been recognised as our Grower of the Day. He successfully delivered a total of 15 bales and achieved an average selling price of US$4.18 per bale.
